I came across this mini movie which was awarded the "Best Director" title at the Sundance Festival in 2012. Directed by Ava Duvernay, this short film for the Fashion Brand MIU MIU, is part of the brand's "The women's Tales" Series and in sum depicts the link between fashion and women's lives.

"The Door" stars: Gabrielle Union, Alfre Woodard, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Adepero Oduye and singer-songwriter Goapele.
Also, the door in the film represents a pathway to who we are.
